2. Job description:
• Monitor construction quality of Contractors within the scope of management
• Monitor occupational safety, environmental sanitation, and fire prevention within the scope of management
• Monitor construction progress within the scope of management.
• Monitor construction method costs at the site
• Monitor and sign off on work items (completion records, variation records, etc.) for Contractors
• Monitor and manage assets in the Department; monitor materials supplied by the Owner at the project
• Inspect quality of input materials and equipment; comply with sampling control and testing regulations
• Manage document archiving within the scope of management.
• Manage personnel: Assign work; train and guide staff in the department to ensure effectiveness and maximum productivity; evaluate work quality of staff within the scope of management
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Electrical, Water Supply and Drainage, Roads and Bridges, etc.
• Grade I Construction Supervision Certificate (Construction/M&E/Infrastructure)
• ≥ 7 years of experience in equivalent position or Construction Management Department Director; priority given to candidates with experience in low-rise projects, large scale
• In-depth knowledge of construction standards and acceptance criteria for construction works.
• Knowledge of physical and mechanical indices, material certificates, understanding of occupational safety-related issues
• Ability to assess and monitor construction quality of contractors. Detect errors or risks of quality defects by contractors and propose solutions
• Ability to review overall drawings, identify unreasonable points during construction and propose changes.
• Priority given to candidates with permanent residence in the locality, near the project
