Overseas Vietnamese (OV) is a global platform for the Vietnamese diaspora, connecting its people to each other, to opportunity and to Vietnam.
Overseas Vietnamese (OV) is a global platform for the Vietnamese diaspora. More than 6.5 million people of Vietnamese origin live outside Vietnam, and OV connects them to each other, to opportunity and to Vietnam. Started in 2019 as a community, OV today brings together 1,000 members in 50+ cities, runs a jobs and talent platform and an angel syndicate, and reaches more than 100,000 people across its platforms. Headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, OV works with companies in Vietnam and abroad. OV exists to make being Vietnamese an advantage.
Our founder
Quang Do
Founder and CEO, Overseas Vietnamese (OV)
Quang Do founded OV in 2019 and leads it from Ho Chi Minh City. He was born and raised in Germany to Vietnamese parents and studied Technology Management at the Technical University of Munich.
Before OV, he spent three years at Google in Singapore. He co-leads OV Ventures, hosts the OV Podcast and writes about Vietnam and its diaspora.
