At IPAS, Quality Engineering belongs to level 3 — strategic governance, completely different from conventional testing. This is not a "manual tester" or "lead test team" position, but an independent expert role with cross-organizational professional guidance responsibility. With an enabler mindset, you will not directly sit writing test cases for each feature, but will be responsible for defining HOW quality is assured across the entire system: from establishing quality bar, metrics, to coaching teams.
Notably, in the AI-Native 2026 trend, you will be a pioneer building quality testing strategy (AI quality strategy) for products applying LLM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
At Senior level (L3), you will master organizational quality strategy through the following core areas: ·
- Quality Strategy & Governance: Define quality standards (quality bar, coverage standards, definition of "production-ready"); build risk-based testing framework and design common quality measurement data system (escape rate, defect density, MTTR...) to report to leadership.
- AI Quality Strategy (Focus): Define testing methodology for AI products (testing hallucination, bias, output consistency for LLM-based features); build evaluation framework and coordinate AI security testing (AI red teaming).
- Test Architecture: Design end-to-end testing strategy (E2E test strategy) across tribes (test pyramid, contract testing); define test data management strategy and test environment.
- SDET Coaching & Engineering Enablement: Lead and coach SDETs embedded in tribes and train Software Engineers on fundamental testing principles to jointly raise the organization's quality bar.
- Compliance Testing: Design testing methodology meeting compliance requirements for services with strict regulatory nature (finance, healthcare, personal data), coordinate SLA commitment assurance.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
1. Work Experience
- 6+ years of experience in Quality/Test Engineering, with at least 3 years in a role with strategic elements or cross-team coordination.
- Have designed test architecture at system scale with multiple teams/multiple services (microservices) and mature CI/CD environment.
- Have practical experience coaching or training other engineers in testing mindset and techniques.
2. Knowledge/Professional Competencies/Skills
2.1. Professional Skills
- Quality Engineering Frameworks: Deep understanding of Test pyramid, risk-based testing, Shift-left & shift-right practices and basic knowledge of Chaos engineering.
- Test Automation & Metrics: Deep understanding of representative frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, pytest, Pact, k6...) sufficient to train; proficiency in applying system quality measurement metrics (DORA metrics, test reliability metrics...).
- AI Quality (Priority): Understand LLM principles and have experience/research in evaluation frameworks such as LangSmith, Ragas, DeepEval, Promptfoo; familiar with concepts like hallucination, prompt injection.

Ở level Senior (L3), bạn sẽ làm chủ chiến lược chất lượng toàn tổ chức thông qua các mảng cốt lõi sau: ·
- Quality Strategy & Governance: Định nghĩa tiêu chuẩn chất lượng (quality bar, coverage standards, định nghĩa "production-ready"); xây dựng risk-based testing framework và thiết kế hệ thống dữ liệu đo lường chất lượng chung (escape rate, defect density, MTTR...) để báo cáo cho leadership.

1. Kinh nghiệm làm việc
- 6+ năm kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực Quality/ Test Engineering, trong đó có ít nhất 3 năm ở vai trò có yếu tố chiến lược hoặc điều phối chéo giữa các team.
