Job description
1. Execute fundraising and capital raising transactions
- Execute capital raising transactions in line with the Group’s strategic plans and project development objectives, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within the required timeline.
- Participate in proposing appropriate capital raising structures and work with counterparties/investors to develop transaction structures aligned with market conditions and the Group’s development strategy.
- Prepare and update financial information, business forecasts, and relevant legal documents relating to the Group’s project development plans; support investors in accessing the data room for due diligence and review processes related to fundraising transactions.
- Prepare and update information for transaction marketing materials, including Investor Presentations, Project Introductions, Offering Circulars, and other relevant materials.
- Respond to investor requests throughout the fundraising process; address investor questions during due diligence and transaction execution.
- Participate in project site visits and meetings with investors as required throughout the fundraising process.
2. Monitor financial and non-financial commitments
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure timely and full compliance with financial and non-financial commitments made to investment institutions before and after disbursement.
- Monitor and identify potential risks of non-compliance or breaches of commitments made to investors following disbursement, and coordinate with relevant functions to implement appropriate mitigation measures.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international financial institutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international financial institutions, including fund management companies, potential investors, securities companies, investment funds, and other relevant financial institutions.
- Monitor and provide updates on market conditions, investor appetite, capital deployment trends, and investment/disbursement activities of financial institutions.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of investors and financial partners to support the Group’s current and future capital raising needs.
4. Other responsibilities
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager and/or senior management.
Requirements
1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Securities Markets, and Capital Markets.
- Good understanding of applicable laws and regulations relating to corporate activities, investment, finance, banking, accounting, securities, and capital raising.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, investment structures, transaction processes, and fundraising activities.
- Understanding of M&A, financial due diligence, investment banking, and/or corporate investment is an advantage.
3. Professional Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, corporate finance, investment, fundraising, investment banking, financial advisory, FDD, M&A, or related fields.
Preferred backgrounds:
- M&A / FDD at Big 4/Big 5 firms;
- Investment / Capital Raising within reputable corporations or groups;
- Investment Banking / Corporate Finance at leading securities companies.
- In-house corporate experience is preferred, particularly candidates with direct experience in investment, fundraising, M&A, or corporate finance transactions.
- Experience working directly with investors, investment funds, financial institutions, or transaction counterparties is highly valued.
