Note: The Data Management and Application Center is recruiting for 02 Specialist positions; however, candidates may only submit an application for 01 position. Candidates who intentionally submit applications for more than 01 Specialist position within the same Data Management and Application Center will have their application results considered for cancellation.
I. Job Description:
1. Support the development of data product business strategy:
a) Develop strategy and roadmap for data product development according to assigned responsibilities.
b) Implement development and application of data products.
c) Analyze and convert business requirements into technical requirements for Data Engineering and Data Science teams.
d) Receive requests from business units / Accompany business units in data support needs, identify technical support solutions and develop user requirements and coordinate with data product development units (Projects).
e) Handle requests related to operations and data provision requests on VCB's technology application systems (Projects).
f) Monitor and report on data usage progress of business units and report on progress and results achieved quarterly.
g) Coordinate with the Data Management Department to develop input criteria for adding new data to the Data Warehouse.
h) Coordinate with departments under the Data Block to develop working procedures (from receiving requests, implementing execution and managing resources).
i) Develop and manage the process of managing backlog task lists with business units.
2. Support technology product development activities:
a) Manage the implementation of processes to collect and understand necessary business requirements, establish a mechanism for prioritizing work based on backlog management criteria and available resources.
b) Promote the submission of data collection requirements and measurement requirements for each bank product, aiming at continuous product evaluation and improvement.
c) Create and maintain Data Usage Dashboard to provide information on data usage needs (use cases) and value obtained from data exploitation.
3. Support user training on data application within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
4. Support business units to increase profitability for VCB:
a) Ensure product development requirements and business campaigns have data application to make decisions.
b) Advise and propose to business units on potential benefits through data analysis based on data science to serve business activities.
c) Coordinate with business units to increase profitability for VCB, propose improvements to achieve the best results.
d) Monitor and report on business value to communicate the benefits of data, promote widespread use of data as a tool.
5. Coordinate with the Data Technology Department to develop necessary tools, methods and procedures to maximize the proactive data usage capacity of business units to create reports from collected data.
6. Perform periodic reports and ad hoc reports, other reports as requested.
7. Participate in training classes and professional training sessions according to the Department and VCB's plan.
8. Perform other tasks assigned by the Department Head.
II. Recruitment Standards:
Requirements for qualifications and work experience:
1. Qualifications:
- Professional qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Data Engineering, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Economics Mathematics, Mathematics and Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Financial Technology or related fields.
- Foreign language proficiency: English at B1 level (Common European Framework of Reference) or equivalent and above, good English usage, communication and reading comprehension related to assigned work.
2. Knowledge:
- Have knowledge of products and operations related to finance and banking
- Understanding of information systems and data in banking
Preferences
- Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Economics Mathematics, Mathematics and Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Financial Technology or related fields.
- Have work experience in data science, data analysis fields
