Job Description
1. Job Summary
Responsible for building, operating and monitoring security measures on AWS environment to ensure safety, compliance and minimize security risks for the system. Participate in security architecture design, configuration control, conduct security assessments, handle incidents and optimize security policies according to international and banking standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. AWS Security Management & Control
• Build, deploy and monitor AWS security policies according to multi-layer security model.
• Control configuration of AWS services: IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, VPC Security…
• Assess overall system security posture (AWS Security Posture Management).
• Build hardening processes, safe configuration baselines for AWS resources.
B. Monitoring & Threat Detection
• Deploy and optimize security monitoring systems: GuardDuty, CloudWatch, SIEM.
• Analyze logs and security events, detect abnormal signs, proactively prevent risks.
• Propose solutions to mitigate risks regarding access rights, network security, sensitive data.
C. Security Assessment & Compliance
• Conduct compliance reviews according to standards: CIS AWS Benchmark, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS (if applicable).
• Report security risks periodically and propose improvements.
D. Security Incident Response
• Analyze, isolate and handle incidents on cloud.
• Investigate root causes and provide preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, devops, application teams to minimize impact.
E. Security Architecture Consulting
• Participate in architecture assessment, security review for products and projects using AWS.
• Participate in deployment, operation, assessment of Zero Trust, Data Protection, Network Segmentation solutions.
Job Requirements
A. Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working on AWS security or cloud security.
• Preferred experience in large enterprise / financial / fintech environment.
B. Knowledge & Professional Skills
• Solid knowledge of AWS architecture and Cloud-native security.
• Understand AWS Security services: IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail, Shield, VPC, Secrets Manager…
• Good knowledge of:
o Network security
o IAM & Privilege Access Management
o Data encryption & key management
o Logging & monitoring
• Ability to read and analyze logs, abnormal events.
• Proficient in using security control tools / CSPM.
C. Certifications (preferred)
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
• AWS Security – Specialty
