Senior Specialist, Quantity Surveying

General Description

• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Cost estimation, budget control.
• Prepare tender documents, contract documents.

Main Responsibilities

Monitor and update project implementation progress and tender schedule.

Monitor and update design drawings through project phases.

Prepare BOQ, cost estimation and tender documents, including Supervision Consultant and QS Consultant packages.

Review and cross-check deliverables from QS Consultant.

Conduct tender interviews and prepare tender evaluation reports.

Negotiate and finalize contract terms.

Update project cost plan and forecast cash flow by month/quarter.

Review, evaluate and negotiate variation requests with contractors.

Perform contract payment and settlement.

Manage and submit documents on SAP system in accordance with Company procedures, regulations and authorization.

Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in QS Engineering, Engineering or similar. Master's degree in Engineering is a plus.
• 5-7 years of experience as QS Engineer (in construction industry).

Knowledge, Professional Skills and Competencies

• Good English communication, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Clear understanding of QS role in construction projects.
• Knowledge and experience working with FIDIC contracts.
• Understanding of materials, unit prices and construction quantities.
• Good communication, negotiation and teamwork skills.
• Analytical, organizational and effective problem-solving skills.
• Time management ability and ability to work under high pressure.
• Results-oriented mindset and high sense of responsibility.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work environment.
• Proactive, positive and willing to learn.
• Willing to work overtime or weekends when necessary.
