4. Job Description:
* Site Management Work:
- Organize supervision and control of construction of electrical systems, light electrical systems, water supply and drainage, ventilation – air conditioning, fire prevention and control and related technical systems according to design documents, contracts, construction measures and approved schedules; inspect contractor and consultant implementation regarding quality, occupational safety, environmental hygiene, fire and explosion prevention.
- Report and recommend on emerging issues (regarding design, technical matters, construction measures, variations, surveys, procedures, etc.) within the scope and field of MEP and fire prevention and control assigned during project implementation.
- Represent the Project Management Board in participating in testing, load testing, trial operation and technical inspection, inspection of project sections, projects put into use within the scope and field of MEP and fire prevention and control.
- Urge contractors and consultants to inspect and complete technical errors; inspect and verify before handing over apartments, partial project sections, projects put into use.
- Hand over construction site, guide provision of electricity and water sources for construction contractors, manage contractor utilities.
- Coordinate with architecture, structure, infrastructure departments and related parties to resolve technical conflicts; control construction sequence, connection points, installation space and operational and maintenance capability of MEP systems.
- Develop weekly/monthly work plans; update quantities, progress, issues and risks; timely report issues that may affect safety, legal compliance, quality, costs or project handover milestones.
* Documentation Work
- Participate in preparing tender documents for MEP and fire prevention and control packages based on Budget, project schedule, material and equipment grades approved by the Company Board of Directors and check contractor documents: budget (Quantities, unit prices), schedule, construction measures.
- Check and evaluate legal capacity documents of MEP and fire prevention and control Contractors and Suppliers before submission for approval.
- Check and approve sample materials, control quality of MEP input materials.
- Participate in controlling construction design documents, approve construction measures, shop drawing documents of MEP and fire prevention and control contractors.
- Check and confirm completed work quantities; check and collect legal and quality documents; support advance payment and final settlement work.
- Check and urge contractors and supervision consultants to prepare as-built drawings, project sections and entire project; check and urge contractors and consultants to prepare contract final settlement documents.
- Manage, update and archive technical documents within the scope of responsibility, including: drawings, construction measures, materials and equipment, inspection records, test and inspection results, as-built documents, operation and maintenance documents.
5. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical – Electronics, Automation, Water Supply and Drainage, Thermal – Refrigeration, Fire Prevention and Control Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- Have knowledge of documents, regulations, technical standards related to MEP and fire prevention and control work, construction quality management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of MS Project, BIM/Revit MEP software or specialized software is an advantage.
- Over 5 years of experience in MEP and fire prevention and control field, of which minimum 2 years as site engineer or project management board officer/supervision consultant.
- Have skills in reading and checking drawings, quantity extraction, quality control, schedule and inspection document verification; have ability to coordinate, solve problems and work independently at construction site.
- Honest, responsible, proactive; ready to work according to project schedule and withstand work pressure. Priority given to candidates who have participated in high-rise building projects, urban areas or projects with complex MEP and fire prevention and control systems.
