POSITION OBJECTIVE
The APM position supports the Portfolio Manager, directly participating in portfolio management, restructuring and investment decision-making. The core differentiator of this position is practical investment thinking: all research is aimed at converting into clear action recommendations. The APM is responsible for proposing comprehensive investment strategies — from sharp investment theses, disbursement plans to specific risk management scenarios — to optimize investment performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. In-depth Analysis & Investment Action Recommendations
- Apply standardized analytical framework: Comply with and deeply apply the investment framework of the investment department to extract in-depth financial reports, build and establish valuation models (DCF, Multiples, SOTP...). Comprehensively evaluate business models, competitive advantages and value chain structures to ensure all analyses are consistent with the investment philosophy of the investment department.
- Investment decision recommendations: Analytical reports must provide specific action strategies. Investment recommendations include: Sharp investment thesis/logic, Disbursement timing, Reasonable allocation ratios based on risk, and Detailed transaction plans.
- Proactively organize and participate in site visits, meet with business leaders, industry experts, and partner/competitor networks to cross-check information for decision-making.
2. Strategic Research & Asset Allocation
- Support PM in building and adjusting strategic and tactical asset allocation frameworks based on economic cycle phases.
- Monitor, consolidate and assess the impact of macroeconomic trends, monetary policy, and system liquidity indicators on asset class developments.
- Continuously screen the market to establish a watchlist of enterprises meeting the criteria of value investment philosophy.
3. Portfolio Management & Risk Monitoring
- Monitor daily portfolio risk indicators; ensure strict compliance with approved risk limits.
- Track market fluctuations, directly assess portfolio effectiveness and propose restructuring/rebalancing solutions to protect gains or optimize positions.
- Coordinate with the trading department to closely follow the disbursement process, ensuring volume and target price ranges align with the proposed strategy.
4. Investment Committee & Client Interaction
- Present and defend investment theses and scenarios to PM and the Investment Committee.
- Support PM in preparing documents, presenting investment strategies and portfolio performance to investment clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting - Auditing or related fields.
- Preference for candidates with CFA (Level II or above), FRM; fund management practice certificate according to SSC regulations is an advantage.
2. Experience
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in positions such as Analyst Specialist, Investment Analyst at Fund Management Companies, Securities Companies, or Capital/Investment divisions of banks.
- Preference for candidates with investment track record who can clearly present their investment methodology.

- Solid knowledge of macroeconomics and how value chains of key economic sectors operate.
