JOB DESCRIPTION
- Operate, maintain and continuously improve the CI/CD system at VNPAY, including developing and adding new features to meet assigned requirements.
- Operate and optimize the application performance monitoring (APM) system using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
- Integrate applications with the observability system by collecting and sending logs, traces and metrics to the centralized APM system.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident review activities to improve monitoring systems and observability capabilities.
- Manage and operate the centralized secrets/credentials storage system, ensuring secure storage and access control of sensitive information.
- Coordinate with development teams to integrate applications with the secrets management system, while ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Coordinate with relevant parties (IT, security, operations, business) to ensure application observability and rapid incident response.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and platforms to enhance system reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 01 year of experience in DevOps, SRE or equivalent positions
- Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with containers and orchestration systems such as Docker, Kubernetes (K8s) and OpenShift.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Java) for automation purposes.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and experience in system administration, performance optimization and troubleshooting.
Preferred skills
- Experience with incident response, root cause analysis (RCA) and system reliability improvement
- Good knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) systems and observability, including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, as well as Loki, Mimir and Tempo.
- Ability to research, evaluate and apply agentic (AI-driven) solutions to enhance automation, support incident handling and optimize system operations.
