I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
Responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing the business efficiency of cash loan products — including unsecured personal loans, cash advances from credit card limits and installment conversion — on VietCredit's existing customer base, through two sales mechanisms: bundling and cross-selling.
This position is the owner of the entire customer conversion journey for loan products — from product structure design, screening policies, segmentation and pricing, to sales channel deployment and conversion funnel optimization — with the objective of maximizing loan disbursement volume and profit per unit of customer acquisition cost, within the approved risk appetite.
Responsibility scope is clearly defined: this position owns product design, policies, customer journey and unit economics of loan products; the business division of the CVM Department owns sales channel execution and revenue targets.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design and develop cash loan products
- Design product structure: credit limits, tenors, interest rate and fee schedules, disbursement conditions and methods, cash advance policies from credit card limits, installment conversion mechanisms, re-borrowing policies and limit top-up policies, early settlement policies.
- Build and maintain comprehensive product documentation: product specifications, terms and conditions, business processes, fee schedules, training materials for sales channels.
- Build unit economics models for each product and each promotional package, calculating all components: interest income, fee income, cost of funds, risk cost, customer acquisition cost, operating cost and debt collection cost.
- Research and propose new loan products and features with business case and post-implementation effectiveness measurement plan.
2. Cross-sell loan products to existing customer base
- Coordinate with Risk Management to build pre-approval policies, exclusion criteria and credit limit policies for customers receiving loan offers.
- Coordinate with Business Analytics and Risk Management to build and regularly update the list of pre-approved customers.
- Determine optimal timing for sales offers based on customers' current product cycles (loan repayment progress, card usage cycles), ensuring offers arrive when customers have genuine needs.
- Design promotional packages, messaging and sales scenarios by segment; build rejection handling documentation and customer data allocation criteria for Telesale.
- Leverage propensity models and next best offer recommendations provided by Business Analytics to improve conversion effectiveness.
3. Manage and optimize loan journey
- Standardize loan journey and define each step of the conversion funnel: outreach → response → application submission → assessment → approval → contract signing → disbursement.
- Build measurement systems by step, by segment and by channel; daily tracking dashboards and alert mechanisms when conversion rates decline abnormally.
- Analyze drop-off points to identify root causes; lead initiatives to reduce processing time (TAT) and improve disbursement rate on approved applications.
- Optimize journey digitalization: electronic identification, electronic contract signing, online application and document submission.
4. Pricing and credit limit policies based on risk and customer lifecycle
- Build flexible pricing policies by segment — risk level — customer lifecycle stage (risk-based pricing), ensuring balance between offer acceptance rate and profit margin.
- Build credit limit policies based on risk and behavior (risk-based limit) based on customer repayment capacity estimates.
- Coordinate with Risk Management in applying total credit limit policies at customer level based on industry credit data (PCB), avoiding over-lending when customers have multiple products.
- Establish mechanisms to monitor and periodically adjust pricing and limit policies based on actual business results and portfolio quality.
5. Product deployment and sales channel development
- Lead product deployment from design to operation: project planning, coordination of relevant departments, user acceptance testing (UAT), pilot runs and scale-up.
- Design and deploy sales channels by segment: partner apps in the ecosystem, VC One app, ZNS/Zalo, SMS, email, Telesale.
- Build business requirements for loan features on VC One app: display pre-approved limits, personalize offers, online registration and disbursement flows, journey stage notifications.
- Deploy champion-challenger mechanisms and A/B testing; evaluate each channel's effectiveness based on contribution margin profit after risk cost, not just conversion volume; propose channel cuts, expansions or restructuring.
7. Develop disbursement and cash withdrawal networks
- Research, propose and develop disbursement and cash withdrawal solutions for customers, including partner agent networks.
- Evaluate partners on criteria: coverage, transaction cost, fund receipt time, customer experience and operational risk.
- Monitor usage effectiveness of each solution, propose network structure adjustments based on actual customer needs.
8. Market, competitor and customer research
- Regularly monitor products, pricing, promotional programs and customer journeys of competitors in the consumer lending market.
- Leverage CIC/PCB data to assess competitive position, track customers switching to other lenders and assess customer debt concentration.
- Conduct surveys, interviews and transaction data analysis to build customer profiles and identify unmet needs.
- Timely update on regulatory changes related to consumer lending activities of finance companies.
9. Reporting, compliance and coordination
- Build and maintain reporting systems and dashboards on loan product business results; provide regular and ad-hoc reports to Head of CVM and Executive Board when requested.
- Ensure product policies, communications materials and sales scenarios comply with laws and State Bank regulations on consumer lending activities; coordinate with Legal & Compliance for review before deployment.
- Strictly comply with customer information security regulations.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance — Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, Data Science or related fields.
2. Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years in product development / management or business development roles at consumer finance companies, banks, credit institutions or fintech enterprises.
- Required: direct experience with unsecured personal loan products — product structure, approval policies, pricing and profit components.
- Required: ability to independently build and defend product profit models, including risk cost components.
- Required: experience deploying cross-sell on existing customer base (segmentation → offer design → channel deployment → effectiveness measurement).
- Required: experience deploying products and sales channels on digital platforms (mobile apps, messaging channels, online registration and disbursement journeys).
- Preferred: experience coordinating with Risk Management to build pre-approval policies, credit limit policies or risk-based pricing; credit card product experience is an advantage.
3. Data analysis capabilities
- Able to read, verify and challenge data; independently perform conversion funnel analysis, cohort analysis and A/B test evaluation.
- Advanced Excel proficiency; SQL is a critical requirement.
- Understand and proficiently use metrics: conversion rate, offer acceptance rate, disbursement rate on approved applications, re-borrowing rate, customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLV), contribution margin profit, propensity score and basic portfolio quality metrics.
- Able to translate data into specific business decisions, not just descriptive reporting.
4. Other knowledge and skills
- Solid understanding of regulations on consumer lending activities of finance companies.
- Project management and cross-functional coordination skills: able to drive progress in environments without direct management authority.
- Presentation and proposal defense skills before Executive Board.
- English proficiency sufficient to understand technical documents.
5. Qualities
- Proactive, results-oriented and quantitative thinking, willing to take responsibility for assigned business targets; customer-centric mindset, balancing growth and risk; honest and careful in protecting customer information.

1. Three key metric groups:
- Revenue — volume and value of cash loan disbursements from bundling and cross-selling; average outstanding balance, compared to monthly / quarterly targets.
