I. POSITION OBJECTIVE

Responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing the business efficiency of the credit card product on VietCredit's existing customer base, through two mechanisms: bundling (bundle) and cross-selling (cross-sell).

This position is the owner of the entire customer journey for the card product — from product structure design, screening policy, segmentation and pricing, to optimizing the card opening journey, activation, first transaction generation and spending retention throughout the lifecycle — with the objective of maximizing profit per card issued within the approved risk appetite, while shortening the time to market for new products and features.

The scope of responsibility is clearly defined: this position owns the product design, policy, customer journey and profit structure (unit economics) of the card product; the business division of the CVM Department owns the execution of sales channels and sales targets.

II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design and develop credit card products

  • Design card product structure: card tier, credit limit, interest rates and fees (annual fee, cash withdrawal fee, installment conversion fee, late payment fee, etc.), interest-free period, minimum payment ratio, cash withdrawal and installment conversion policy, points accumulation / cashback program.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive product documentation: product specifications, terms and conditions, business procedures, fee schedule, training materials for sales channels.
  • Build profit model (unit economics) for each card tier and each promotion package, calculating all components: interest income, fee income, interchange fees, cost of capital, risk cost, customer acquisition cost and card operation cost.
  • Research and propose new card features and product packages with business case and plan to measure effectiveness after implementation.

2. Optimize card opening and activation journey

  • Standardize the card opening journey and define each step of the conversion funnel: outreach → registration → assessment → approval → issuance → card delivery → activation → first transaction generation.
  • Build measurement system by step, by segment and by channel; analyze drop-off points to find root causes and propose solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to shorten processing time (TAT) from registration to when customers receive and activate the card; coordinate with Card Operations and Information Technology to eliminate operational bottlenecks.
  • Design and implement programs to promote early activation and first transactions for newly issued cards.

3. Drive card usage and spending growth

  • Design promotion programs, cashback, points accumulation, partner benefits by customer segment to increase transaction frequency and value, especially in retail and e-commerce transaction groups.
  • Monitor and influence customer behavior shifts between groups (Transactor — Revolver — cash needs), build a set of indicators to measure this shift.
  • Build programs to handle dormant cards and low-usage cards; measure effectiveness based on margin profit, not just the number of reactivated cards.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of each promotion program on the basis of comparison with control groups; propose to stop, expand or redesign.

4. Bundle and cross-sell card products on existing customer base

  • Coordinate with Risk Management to build pre-approval policy, exclusion criteria and limit policy for customers receiving card opening offers.
  • Coordinate with Business Analytics to leverage propensity models and propose the best-fit product (next best offer) to select target customers and contact timing.
  • Design benefit packages, messaging and sales scenarios by segment; build rejection handling documentation and criteria for allocating customer data to Telesale.
  • Design and implement sales channels by segment (partner apps in the ecosystem, VC One app, ZNS/Zalo, SMS, email, Telesale); implement champion–challenger mechanism and A/B testing to continuously improve conversion rates.

5. Pricing and limit policy based on risk and customer lifecycle

  • Build flexible pricing policy by segment — risk level — customer lifecycle stage (risk-based pricing), ensuring balance between offer acceptance rate and profit margin.
  • Build limit policy based on risk and usage behavior (risk-based limit), including mechanisms to increase, decrease and cut limits throughout the lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Risk Management in applying total limit policy at customer level based on industry credit data (PCB).
  • Establish mechanism to monitor and periodically adjust pricing and limit policy based on actual business results and portfolio quality.

6. Develop card features on VC One app and digital channels

  • Build business requirements for features serving customer attraction, increasing visit frequency and promoting conversion on VC One app.
  • Design in-app experience serving bundling and cross-selling: display pre-approved limits, personalize offers, registration — activation — card management flow online, notifications at each journey stage.
  • Coordinate with Information Technology to incorporate requirements into product development roadmap, participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), acceptance and measure effectiveness after release.

7. Market, competitor and customer research

  • Regularly monitor products, fee schedules, promotion programs and customer journeys of competitors in the credit card market.
  • Exploit CIC/PCB data to assess competitive position: customer credit behavior at other institutions, rate of customer switching to competitors, degree of customer spending capture (share of wallet).
  • Lead surveys, interviews and transaction data analysis to build profiles of retail and e-commerce transaction customers.
  • Timely update changes in regulations and market trends affecting card issuance and usage activities.

8. Reporting, compliance and coordination

  • Build and maintain reporting system and dashboard on card product business results; report periodically and urgently to Head of CVM and Executive Board when requested.
  • Ensure product policy, communication materials and sales scenarios comply with regulations and State Bank of Vietnam regulations on card activities; coordinate with Legal & Compliance for review before implementation.
  • Strictly comply with regulations on customer information security and card data protection.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance — Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, Data Science or related fields.

  • Mandatory: direct experience with credit card products — product structure design and fee schedule, card opening and activation journey, spending promotion programs.
  • Mandatory: clear understanding of revenue and cost components of card products, ability to independently build and defend product profit models.
  • Mandatory: experience implementing cross-selling on existing customer base (segmentation → offer design → channel implementation → effectiveness measurement).
  • Mandatory: experience implementing products and sales channels on digital platforms (mobile apps, messaging channels, online registration journey).
  • Preferred: experience coordinating with Risk Management to build pre-approval policy, limit policy or risk-based pricing; understanding of card operations (issuance, settlement, dispute resolution) is an advantage.

3. Data analysis capability

  • Able to read, verify and challenge data; independently perform funnel analysis, cohort analysis and A/B test result evaluation.
  • Proficient in Excel at advanced level; SQL is a critical requirement.
  • Understand and proficiently use metrics: conversion rate, offer acceptance rate, activation rate and active card rate, average spending per active card, revolving balance ratio, customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLV), contribution margin profit, propensity score and basic portfolio quality indicators.
  • Able to convert data into specific business decisions, not just descriptive reporting.

4. Other knowledge and skills

  • Thoroughly understand regulations on card issuance and usage activities of financial companies.
  • Project management and cross-functional coordination skills: able to drive progress in an environment without direct management authority.
  • Presentation and proposal defense skills before the Executive Board.

I. MỤC TIÊU VỊ TRÍ

4. Bán kèm và bán chéo sản phẩm thẻ trên tập khách hàng hiện hữu

  • Phối hợp Quản trị Rủi ro xây dựng chính sách phê duyệt trước (pre-approval), tiêu chí loại trừ và chính sách hạn mức cho khách hàng nhận đề nghị mở thẻ.
  • Phối hợp Business Analytics khai thác mô hình xu hướng (propensity) và đề xuất sản phẩm phù hợp nhất (next best offer) để lựa chọn khách hàng mục tiêu và thời điểm tiếp cận.
  • Thiết kế gói ưu đãi, thông điệp và kịch bản bán theo từng phân khúc; xây dựng tài liệu xử lý từ chối và tiêu chí phân bổ dữ liệu khách hàng cho Telesale.
  • Thiết kế và triển khai bộ kênh bán theo phân khúc (ứng dụng đối tác trong hệ sinh thái, ứng dụng VC One, ZNS/Zalo, SMS, email, Telesale); triển khai cơ chế champion–challenger và thử nghiệm A/B để liên tục cải thiện tỷ lệ chuyển đổi.
