- Job objective: Control the DCS system and other IT systems according to the functions and responsibilities of the Ground Services Department to ensure financial efficiency, stable operations, and compliance with Company regulations/policies and requirements from authorities.
- Duties:
1/ Establish DCS system
- Research, propose and implement solutions for establishing, expanding and operating check-in systems and load control systems at airports;
- Perform connection, monitoring and ensure stable operation of check-in systems, weight and balance and related systems.
- Research and implement work related to other software/IT systems of the Ground Services Department
2/ Connect and monitor system operations
- Control the update of flight information, seat maps, passenger lists on the system.
- Manage and maintain the operation of check-in and weight and balance systems, coordinate with units (SCC, airports, etc.) to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor, handle and report incidents; propose solutions to fix and improve the system.
- Provide technical support to system users;
- Archive operational data.
3/ Reporting & Evaluation
- Prepare technical reports to the Department Head as requested on a regular basis regarding system operations, recommendations/proposals to improve the system.
- Recruitment requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in aviation, transportation, business administration or equivalent.
- Good English communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in weight and balance field.
- Knowledge of: Apron safety, Aviation security, Dangerous goods, Regulations, policies, standards, procedures for passenger and baggage service of airlines
- Training on specialized software used at the unit
- Check-in CM system, weight and balance FM system for various aircraft types of SPA
- Skills in synthesizing and analyzing information, problem solving
- Ability to work shift work (at office)
