PROJECT CATEGORY: Phu Quoc Airport / Luxury Hotel Complex (Red Land Area) / APEC Project Complex JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Check technical design and measure detailed quantities of structural and finishing items, serving bid document preparation and construction control;
- Direct on-site supervision, control quality – progress – quantity – occupational safety and health for construction items;
- Monitor and urge contractors to follow approved procedures, measures and technical standards;
- Coordinate updates and design minor items arising at the site, promptly handle technical discrepancies;
- Advise and propose optimal construction solutions, strictly control variations – drawing adjustments – quantity changes;
- Design details and implement technical items arising at the site (steel reinforcement, connection improvements, supplementary shop drawings, etc.), ensuring functional suitability, aesthetics and practical constructability;
- Coordinate acceptance, inspect as-built drawings and handover/settlement documents with contractors and QS department;
- Conduct periodic/urgent reports on progress – quality – incidents – technical matters;
- Effectively coordinate with related departments (MEP, Interior, QS, Infrastructure, Design, etc.) to ensure synchronized construction;
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil and Industrial Construction.
- Minimum 07 years of experience supervising construction of civil projects, preferably candidates who have participated in iconic/complex large-scale projects;
- Valid Construction Supervision Practice Certificate (minimum Grade II);
- Thorough understanding of construction procedures, technical standards, methods of acceptance and quality inspection;
- Proficient in on-site supervision skills: quality – quantity – progress – occupational safety and health – environmental and social management;
- Able to read overall, architectural, structural, MEP drawings and coordinate handling of drawing conflicts;
- Proactive – responsible – honest – able to withstand high site pressure;
- Ready to work at the site, travel for work, follow progress and project coordination requirements.
