WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Create engaging in-game visual effects that amplify the music/rhythm experience.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure all effects align with gameplay timing, readability, and visual style.
- Optimize VFX for mobile performance (memory, overdraw, frame stability).
- Proactively propose and prototype new visual ideas that raise overall visual quality and player satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical skills requirements:
- Proficiency in Unity with mastery of the Particle System.
- Foundational shader knowledge (alpha blend, additive, unlit; built-in/Shader Graph).
- Skilled in texture creation using Photoshop or equivalent; illustration skills are a plus.
- Basic proficiency in a 3D DCC (e.g., Blender/Maya/3ds Max) for creating/processing simple VFX meshes.
- Bonus: Familiarity with After Effects and Unity UI/Canvas particle effects.
- Portfolio showcasing your VFX work (include links or samples).
- Soft skills requirements:
- A reliable person and able to work independently, with responsibility.
- A creative person, flexible and adaptive to work with multiple games portfolio.
- A communicative person who can discuss with the team about their ideas, projects and negotiate feedback effectively.
- An energetic and open-minded collaborator.
- A multi-tasker, who proactively seeks out opportunities to support the team.
- Portfolio is required as part of the application
