Join our Backend Development team, which builds and operates the backend infrastructure behind our internal engineering ecosystem: Distributed databases, message queues, API gateways and other platform services.
Rust is our primary direction for new infrastructure, while C++ powers our existing legacy systems. Prior Rust/C++ experience is a plus. Strong fundamentals and a learning mindset matter more.
What you will do
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot backend systems;
- Develop and optimize backend infrastructure components in Rust. Maintain and debug existing C++ services under guidance;
- Write clean, testable code. Participate in code reviews, testing and design discussions;
- Improve observability, reliability and efficiency using logs, metrics and monitoring tools;
- Support internal teams on connectivity, latency, throughput and integration issues, and drive issues to resolution;
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
What you will need
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- Proficiency in at least one language (Rust, C++, Python), with solid data structures and algorithms;
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS), Linux, concurrency and basic distributed systems concepts;
- Strong willingness to learn Rust and work with C++, plus interest in performance and how systems work under the hood;
- Strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
Nice to Have: Familiarity with multithreading, async programming, profiling or low-level debugging
