What you will do
- Data Exploration (EDA): Perform EDA on user behavioral data using Python and SQL to uncover trends, user segments, and product opportunities;
- Metric Troubleshooting: Conduct root-cause analysis when product metrics (engagement, retention, churn) show unusual patterns;
- Dashboards & Reporting: Build and maintain KPI dashboards and ad-hoc reports using Metabase or Apache Superset;
- Insights Delivery: Summarize findings and communicate actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
What you will need
- Final-year student or fresh graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field;
- SQL: Proficient in writing queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from relational/analytical databases;
- Python: Solid hands-on experience with pandas, NumPy, and visualization libraries (matplotlib/seaborn) for exploratory analysis;
- BI & Reporting: Experience or familiarity with BI tools like Metabase, Apache Superset, or similar platforms;
- Basic understanding of applied statistics and a curious mindset to ask the "why" behind the numbers.
⭐ Nice to have:
- Prior exposure to cohort analysis, user segmentation, or funnel analysis concepts;
- Basic understanding of data modeling or writing SQL queries for dimensional tables (facts/dimensions).
