About the job
A problem is not considered thoroughly resolved until it is resolved for everyone. That is why Google employees (Googlers) are always building products that create opportunities for people, whether in their own neighborhood or around the world. As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project timelines, identify risks and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners throughout the company. Your projects typically span multiple offices, time zones and different hemispheres. Your task is to coordinate team members and keep them updated on progress as well as work deadlines.
In your role as Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary manufacturing interface for hardware products. You will work with Google's engineering and product teams to drive the stages of product development builds and support ongoing changes to existing products. You will also lead a team to ensure products are designed and manufactured according to standards for functionality and quality. The New Product Introduction (NPI) team also determines sourcing strategy for products.
