Job description
- BIM strategy and standards: Develop implementation strategy, standard systems, processes and guidelines for unified BIM application across projects.
- BIM implementation management: Oversee and inspect BIM application in project teams, ensure compliance with standards and set objectives.
- Model quality control: Manage quality, coordinate integration of multi-disciplinary BIM models; control BIM products before releasing design documents and handover at each project phase.
- Library and standard model development: Build and standardize Revit Family library, Civil 3D and sample BIM models for low-rise buildings, for shared use in the Design Institute.
- BIM tool development: Research and develop BIM Tools to automate processes, improve productivity and design quality.
- Training and technical support: Organize training, assess competency and inspect BIM implementation at the Design Institute; support Planning and Integrated Architecture departments in quickly and accurately consolidating planning and low-rise data.
- Technical participation: Directly participate in building building information models and perform other tasks as assigned by the Design Institute Leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Construction, Planning or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design and BIM; experience managing and implementing BIM at large project scale or multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience developing BIM strategy, standards, processes; managing implementation, quality control and coordinating multi-disciplinary models.
- Experience developing or applying BIM Tools, automating design processes is an advantage.
