Job Overview
The Aftersales Setup & Warehouse Management Manager is responsible for establishing, expanding, and improving VinFast's Aftersales warehouse network across overseas markets.
The role owns warehouse setup projects, monitors the performance of existing warehouses, identifies operational gaps, and independently drives corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
The position works closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics service providers to ensure sufficient warehouse capacity, inventory accuracy, efficient operations, and reliable spare parts availability to support overseas aftersales services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseas AFS Warehouse Performance Management
- Monitor operational KPIs of existing AFS warehouses, including:
- Inventory accuracy
- Order fulfillment rates
- Lead times and dwell time
- Urgent shipment (VOR) performance
- Operational costs and service provider performance
- Collect and analyze warehouse performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
2. Warehouse Setup, Expansion & Capacity Planning
- Lead warehouse setup and expansion projects from planning to go-live.
- Assess warehouse capacity against demand forecasts and spare parts requirements.
- Define requirements for space, layout, equipment, staffing, processes, and IT systems.
- Prepare SOWs and RFQs, evaluate 3PL proposals, compare costs, and support negotiations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and operational readiness.
3. Overseas logistics coordination
- Ensure AFS warehouses comply with VinFast operational standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and 3PLs to resolve operational issues.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities for warehouse-related logistics.
- Investigate system transaction inconsistencies and integration issues between SAP and vendor WMS.
- Support operational readiness and system setup for any new warehouse or modified scope initiatives.
4. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Develop and standardize warehouse SOPs, KPIs, and reporting templates.
- Identify and implement improvements in warehouse operations, service levels, and costs.
- Track project progress, operational risks, and improvement results.
- Report key issues and recommendations to the Director of Overseas Logistics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in logistics, market setup, or international operations, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in warehouse setup, expansion, and 3PL management.
- Strong skills in project management, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Experience with SAP/WMS and warehouse KPI reporting is an advantage.
- Good negotiation and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
