Job description
1. Construction progress management
- Conduct inspections of the actual manpower, machinery, materials, and equipment of the Landscape Contractor against the plan
- Conduct inspections of the actual work progress of the Landscape Contractor against the plan
- Submit daily progress status reports to direct management
2. Occupational safety, hygiene, and environmental management
- Conduct daily/periodic inspections of the legal documentation on occupational safety, health and environmental protection (OSHEP) of the Landscape Contractor
- Conduct daily/periodic inspections of hygiene and OSHEP conditions in the Landscape construction area
- Handle remediation, prevention of occupational safety violations
- Submit daily OSHEP status reports to direct management
3. Construction quality management
- Review submitted documentation on quality management: Materials, Methods, Shop drawings on planting and care of landscape
- Organize acceptance inspection of equipment, materials, and supplies of the Landscape Contractor before use
- Review design documentation: Review landscape planning drawings, tree species catalog (size, specifications) to ensure compatibility with soil and climate of the area and review opinions on the irrigation system.
- Survey supply sources: Directly inspect tree quality at the contractor's nursery before bringing to the project (ensure trees are disease-free, balanced canopy, correct height, stem diameter, etc.).
- Manage material quality: Inspect fertilizers, plant protection chemicals, grass seeds, etc. at input according to the contract.
- Organize acceptance inspection of construction work before proceeding to the next construction phase
- Control planting process: supervise substrate and soil color mixing; monitor planting techniques (root ball depth, canopy direction); ensure tree fixation (guy-wires) is safe during rainy and stormy seasons.
- Maintenance and care phase
- Supervise maintenance: monitor watering schedule, fertilization, pruning and replacement of weak or dead trees during the warranty period.
- Build a tree monitoring matrix, quantity, tree species according to scientific plan, moving towards digitization according to the software system to update tree monitoring
- Input data, control and monitor the status of tree import/export on software deployed by the Group.
- Handle remediation, prevention of construction quality violations
- Submit daily quality status reports to direct management
4. Project documentation management
- Store hard copy documentation on Landscape according to regulations, applying the Group's technology
- Store soft copy documentation on Landscape according to regulations, applying the Group's technology
- Submit daily work reports and store documentation
5. Handover product management (project handover acceptance)
- Record and remedy defects in Landscape and landscape handover before handover
- Store and hand over Landscape documentation for handover purposes
6. Contract implementation, payment, and variation management
- Inspect and confirm payment stage documentation of the Landscape Contractor (documentation components, actual quantities performed, etc.) correctly and completely according to actual implementation
- Inspect and confirm final account documentation of the Landscape Contractor (documentation components, actual quantities performed, etc.) correctly and completely according to actual implementation
- Inspect and confirm variation documentation for Landscape items correctly and completely as required (goods and services request form - GSRF variation, variation explanation - VE, variation items, etc.)
- Monitor, follow up and submit periodic reports on the status of Payment/Final Account/Variation at the project
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Landscape, Horticulture: Landscape and Horticultural Engineering, Urban Landscape Management and Engineering, Crop Science/Agronomy, etc.
- Appropriate professional knowledge of landscape and horticulture
- Over 5 years of experience in landscape and horticulture field
- Professional knowledge of occupational safety & environmental health, Construction and Project Management, construction quality assurance
- Project management skills for large-scale construction projects
- Communication, negotiation, team leadership, and meeting facilitation skills
- Change management, conflict & crisis management skills
