The Workplace Experience Engineer role primarily exists to enables a productive employee experience; Improves service quality and operational resilience; Supports workplace modernisation; Strengthens endpoint security and compliance.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Workplace and Site Technology Services: Provide end-user support for workplace technologies including endpoint devices, Microsoft 365 services, workplace applications, printing, meeting room technologies, and connectivity, while acting as the local Level 1 support resource for infrastructure services in collaboration with regional technology teams
2. Administer and Support Endpoint Management: Operate and support Microsoft Intune and related endpoint-management capabilities, including device enrolment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, software updates, endpoint health, and troubleshooting.
3. Perform Endpoint Client Engineering: Support the testing, packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of Windows devices, applications, security configurations, and standard endpoint builds in alignment with enterprise technology standards.
4. Maintain Endpoint Security and Compliance: Monitor and remediate device compliance, patching, configuration, encryption, endpoint protection, and other security requirements, working with regional and enterprise teams to address risks and exceptions.
5. Deliver Workplace Technology Projects and Improvements:
Participate in endpoint upgrades, device refreshes, migrations, technology rollouts, and service-improvement initiatives, coordinating with Workplace, Infrastructure, Security, application teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
6. Incident, Request and Problem Management: Manage assigned incidents and service requests within agreed service levels, perform root-cause analysis where appropriate, and implement actions that reduce recurring endpoint and workplace issues
7. Device and Asset Lifecycle Management: Maintain accurate records of devices, software, warranties, assignments, and inventory while coordinating device provisioning, replacement, recovery, disposal, and licence compliance
8. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate the timely provisioning and de-provisioning of devices, applications, accounts, and access, ensuring a smooth employee experience and adherence to security requirement
9. Documentation and Knowledge Management: Create and maintain technical documentation, endpoint standards, support procedures, knowledge articles, configuration records, and operational reports to support consistency, knowledge transfer, governance, and audit readiness
10. Vendor and Service Coordination: Work with technology vendors and service providers to manage support cases, equipment delivery, repairs, warranties, and service performance.
11. Technology Adoption and User Enablement: Provide user guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing activities that improve employee confidence, adoption, and effective use of workplace technologies
What you need to succeed:
- At least 8 years related experience
- Degree in Information Technology / Computer Sciences
- Hands-on experience in Workplace / End-User Computing support in an enterprise environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and application deployment
- Experience supporting laptops/desktops, printing, meeting rooms, collaboration tools, and workplace applications
- Working experience using ITSM platform such as ServiceNow or similar platform
