What you will do
- Manage and operate database for Zalo chat message system, focusing on high throughtput, resilience.
- Maintain and optimize source code database. Upgrade legacy code/lib C++ to newer version.
- Manage and monitor server backend (disk/network/load). Build tool/alert system to help managing server backend.
- Analyze / Detect bottleneck in database to improve performance, throughput.
- Design database cluster for new feature of Zalo chat message system.
- Build tool to help maintain/manage microservice system.
What you will need
- 3+ years experience in backend systems.
- Experience in linux operating system, async i/o, event driven design.
- Experience with NoSQL database, understand disk I/O, network effect on database.
- Knowledge in distributed, microservice system, RPC (gRPC/Thrift), message queue (kafka/...)
- Should have fluency in C++/Java.
