- What do you do, and where did you grow up?
- I’m a management consultant advising the Australian public sector, with a passion for teaching and a growing interest in exploring a PhD pathway. I grew up in Hai Phong, Vietnam, and have spent a significant part of my adult life living in Melbourne, which has become a second home to me.
- Why do you lead OV in your city?
- I was inspired by Daniel, the lead of OV Melbourne, where I spent most of my time before moving back to Vietnam. Seeing the community he built made me want to create that same sense of connection in Hanoi. I love meeting new people, socialising, and trying activities I’ve never done before. Most of all, I want to make Hanoi a welcoming home for OV members visiting from all over the world, and help them discover the city beyond the usual tourist spots!
- One place in your city every Vietnamese visitor should know
- Phố Cổ (Hanoi’s Old Quarter) is a must. You could spend hours wandering its little streets, discovering hidden cafés, trying local food, and stumbling upon something unexpected at every turn. And if you have more time, head to Ba Đình District, there’s so much to explore, from historical landmarks and cultural spots to great places to eat and hang out.
