GENERAL INFORMATION
Work location: Unilever Cu Chi Factory, Lot A2-3, Tay Bac Cu Chi Industrial Park, Tan An Hoi Commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
Working hours: 6 days/week, office hours and ready to work shifts according to production needs.
Reports to: Factory Manager.
JOB PURPOSE
Cell Leader is responsible for managing and driving the production performance of the assigned production line according to Line Scorecard, ensuring achievement of targets for Safety (SHE), Quality, Equipment Efficiency, Output and Cost.
At the same time, this position plays a key role in implementing, maintaining and improving Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) standards through guiding, training and supervising the operating team, contributing to enhancing human resources capacity, optimizing production operations and building a high-performance work culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Operations
- Monitor, consolidate and analyze issues arising in production line operations (Safety, Quality, Downtime, Losses) to propose and implement corrective solutions.
- Guide, mentor and supervise operating staff (Operator & Assistant Operator) to comply with production procedures and standards.
- Directly participate in machine operation when necessary to ensure production continuity.
- Implement advanced-level preventive maintenance procedures (Advanced Maintenance).
- Lead and implement small improvement activities (Small Improvement/Kaizen) and medium improvement activities (Medium Kaizen) at the production line.
- Participate in key improvement projects as assigned by Production Management.
Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) Implementation
Autonomous Maintenance (AM)
- Coordinate with Production Management to develop and implement AM plan for the production line.
- Fully implement activities according to requirements of each AM Step as per approved plan.
- Guide and train staff to perform AM activities; update and adjust AM standards to suit operational reality.
- Review, monitor and handle AM Defect List.
- Develop and monitor periodic AM maintenance plan.
Professional Maintenance (PM)
- Directly participate in handling Breakdown incidents to collect data and information for building PM standards.
- Coordinate with PM team to develop and implement PM plan according to Professional Maintenance steps.
- Implement PM activities according to approved plan.
- Participate in AM-PM meetings to coordinate handling of machine defects (Tags).
- Coordinate implementation of maintenance activities according to schedule (PM Calendar).
SHE & Quality
- Collect feedback and suggestions from the production line and propose improvements related to SHE & Quality.
- Participate in risk assessment (Risk Assessment) for the production line.
- Establish, implement and maintain safety and quality checklists.
- Participate in analysis of accidents, near-miss incidents, customer and consumer complaints.
- Review and handle defect list related to SHE & Quality.
Continuous Improvement
- Propose improvement activities for the production line.
- Participate in implementing improvement activities.
- Monitor effectiveness and progress of improvement activities.
- Organize and effectively participate in improvement meetings (Run-to-Standard).
Cost Deployment (CD)
- Ensure the production line database is fully and accurately updated according to CD requirements and Waste & Loss definitions.
- Perform Daily Review and report OEE Loss Tree of the production line.
- Participate in implementing CD Matrix with CD Coordinator.
Other Tasks
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
- Graduated from vocational secondary school, college or university in related fields.
- Ready to work shifts.
- Have teamwork skills and ability to lead operating teams.
- Experience working in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of WCM, Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Professional Maintenance (PM), SHE, Quality and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen); will receive additional training during work if needed.
- Able to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Spirit of continuous improvement, proactivity and high responsibility in work.
